Philippines Library & Charity Services 2023 & 2024
To develop library system for the children in Tondo Manila who live in poverty. They are facing food and housing insecurity, malnutrition, lacking education. The mission is to provide life changing experiences for children and family in the underdeveloped area.
In March and April, 2024, 1,000 of the donated books and more than 100 toys were delivered to the hands of the children who live in the isolated regions and islands in Philippines.
The homeless woman, Tamayo who sells used clothes in Tondo, Manila will have life changing experience through the donated clothes, bags, and accessories from OKL Memorial Library System's support. The 10 year-old girl Ganggang shall be benefited with the library system in getting English eduication through William and the volunteers of OKL Library System.
Another OKL Library system was established through a church in Tondo, Manila in Apr. 2024.
